Anandi Gandhi worked with Grampari as Sustainability Coordinator in 2012-13. She thinks of herself as a farmer but has wider interests in environmental issues. Her Master's thesis focused on the role of genetically modified seeds in the farmers' suicides of India. Her past experiences include permaculture design, working with tribal communities in South and West India for forest conservation, urban land-use research in NYC, and teaching undergraduate students. She currently lives in Loma Linda, CA and is exploring how permaculture could create systemic changes for land and people.
